Top-quality meads from a local brewer, what's not to like!
Well worth the stop, interesting and delicious
As an aspiring mead-maker, I was very curious about this place and it was right on the way to our destination in Copper Harbor. John, the owner / brewer was happy to schedule a visit for us, and we were very impressed. It's located in a cool location, a former church with stained glass and a great feel. Seems they host music festivals and local events there. John was a very gracious host, and even showed us his production operations and gave me all kinds of helpful tips. We tried 8 kinds of mead, and ended up buying 8 bottles for ourselves and for gifts. I would definitely recommend this as a stop if you're visiting the U.P. Yum! The owner it's a great guy, we did a tasting and bought 3 bottles. Will definitely stop here on our next trip to the UP.
